Assassin's Creed Introduces Unexpected Attack on Titan Event for Holiday Season
In a bizarre partnership that defies traditional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Revealed
According to the formal statement, "A mysterious confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden cult.
The questline concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Extra Features
Players who finish the adventure will obtain an special katana in addition to multiple objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

Latest Free Story Addition
This update also adds the game's latest no-cost story addition, titled "The Enigma."
